International Migration Review

The International Migration Review (IMR) is an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal created to encourage and facilitate the study of all aspects of international migration. Established in 1964, IMR is widely regarded as the leading scholarly journal in the field of international migration, ethnic group relations and refugee movements.

Italian American Review

The Italian American Review (IAR), a bi-annual, peer-reviewed journal of the John D. Calandra Italian American Institute, publishes scholarly articles about the history and culture of Italian Americans, as well as other aspects of the Italian diaspora. The IAR does not publish or review literary criticism or creative work such as poetry, fiction, or memoir, and the IAR does not review creative work or literary criticism.

Italian Americana

Italian Americana, a cultural and historical review devoted to the Italian experience in the New World, is printed in cooperation with Youngstown State University, College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences.

VIA: Voices in Italian Americana

Voices in Italian Americana is a semiannual literary and cultural review devoted to the dissemination of information concerning the contributions of and about Italian Americans to the cultural and art worlds of North America. Each issue is divided into three major sections: creative works, essays, and reviews. The journal is available in print only.

Diasporic Italy

Diasporic Italy is a scholarly, peer-reviewed journal devoted to the Italian American / Diaspora, focusing on timely and varied approaches to criticism and analysis of the field by presenting new perspectives and research on transnational issues. Published by the University of Illinois Press, it is the official publication of the Italian American Studies Association replacing the annual Conference Proceedings. 

Interdisciplinary in nature, Diasporic Italy publishes in all aspects of the arts, humanities, social sciences, and cultural studies, and is particularly interested in comparative studies, pedagogy, and translation. Additionally, the journal encourages submissions on movement to, from, and within Italy conceptualizing all aspects of the diaspora including inter-coloniality and post(-)colonialism.
